For Pakistani Americans and other overseas Pakistanis who are unable to travel to Pakistan or prefer not to appear in person, Omar Welfare Association’s Houston office provides convenient cross-border coordination by connecting clients with experienced law firms and qualified professionals in Pakistan through its established professional partnerships.
OWA assists clients in coordinating legal representation and managing matters related to family law, civil litigation, property disputes, inheritance and succession, probate proceedings, property transfers, partition of inherited property, recovery matters, contract disputes, and other civil legal proceedings. In addition, OWA facilitates assistance with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) tax matters, National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) services — including identity record corrections and civil registration issues — powers of attorney, document preparation, notarization, attestations, court documentation, and communication with relevant government authorities.
By serving as a single point of contact in the United States, OWA helps overseas Pakistanis efficiently manage legal and administrative matters in Pakistan without the need for repeated international travel, while working in collaboration with qualified Pakistani advocates and other licensed professionals to ensure that services are provided in accordance with applicable Pakistani laws and regulations.
